Big - I agree, I think these are very well done. Plus, the fact that you know which one you are buying make these even better.

Re: WDW 40th
To me, they got to do a lot more than pins and vinylmations to celebrate the 40th!

Re: WDW 40th
We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour over the summer when all the scrims were up on Main Street, our tour guide said Main Street was getting a complete makeover for the 40th anniversary. So something must be planned.

Re: WDW 40th
Yeh, the 40th will be celebrated in MERCHANDISING only...

Re: WDW 40th
All I know is that I will be celebrating my 40th birthday at WDW this Christmas!
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. -- St. Augustine

Check allearsnet.com and do a search. I really enjoy their newsletter and it is so helpful to research anything about WDW.

Re: WDW 40th
Now that's classy - if WDW would do a 40th celebration, it would be even better, as it would be a celebration for WDW and for your own birthdaynoledawg wrote:All I know is that I will be celebrating my 40th birthday at WDW this Christmas!

However, mindflipper seems to be right - next piece of merchandise announced:

I'll be 30 later this year...and was hoping to celebrate my 30th with WDW's 40th...but we may have to postpone a year. That's probably still ok though since Disney usually celebrates things for 18 months.noledawg wrote:All I know is that I will be celebrating my 40th birthday at WDW this Christmas!

...or in this case, until the "celebration" merchandise runs out...theBIGyowski wrote:I'll be 30 later this year...and was hoping to celebrate my 30th with WDW's 40th...but we may have to postpone a year. Re: WDW 40th
Interesting tidbit: They still have the What Will You Celebrate audio spiels on the Monorails... That celebration has been over for more than a year now.theBIGyowski wrote:I'll be 30 later this year...and was hoping to celebrate my 30th with WDW's 40th...but we may have to postpone a year. We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Re: WDW 40th
It remains to be seen if I will be able to go this year, but if I can WDW and I will be celebrating the same age. It opened on Oct 1st and then I came along 18 days later. It would be really cool to be there...DW and I were there for the 35th (it was our last day) and there was nothing really special going on.

Re: WDW 40th
That's the way I remember the 35th when I was there too. So why do people expect something for the 40th than some grubby way to get some $$$ from the merchandising of it?AVITWeb wrote:It remains to be seen if I will be able to go this year, but if I can WDW and I will be celebrating the same age. They're sooooooo over-rated. It just becomes self-delusional.Amy wrote:Hope and optimism?!mindflipper wrote:That's the way I remember the 35th when I was there too.
