I'm wondering how long it's going to take them. I hope they will finish it before or during my trip at the end of the month so I can see it. :)
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

Update: The Adventureland sign and the posts that held it up are gone. No word on the rest of the bridge.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Sounds like they're getting closer. Can you tell if they have started to dismantle the old bridge?

There is no real way to see over the walls without a CM noticing and yelling at you to get down... :|

This may be a long shot and I think there's too many trees and buildings in the way, but can you see from the carpets?

Nope. Aloha Isle blocks your view.

I hope they are just giving it a new coat of paint! I would hate to see them change this bridge, there was nothing wrong with it!

I wonder if there were structural issues with it...and they are just strengthening it from the ground up. Is that the same bridge from when the park opened 40 years ago?

I believe boilerbabe is right - the current bridge is the one that opened with the park. It's had its rehab many times over the years (I can remember it being closed before long ago on a visit, so I know they've done their upkeep. It is the bane of strollers, wheelchairs, and scooters so maybe Disney is building a better bridge to be more accomodating?

I was just there Saturday, i dunno, I never happened to go that way. Hopefully just giving at a simple face lift, new decor on the bridge.

I agree with MadEye - the old bridge has gotta go! Put something in that's easier to walk over than the one that is there now!

I hope they don't change it too much - I really liked the old bridge! Sometimes we sit right there by it where we can listen to the Adventureland loop while admiring the castle after the park closes.
