Sounds like an interesting show. Guess we'll just have to take a long weekend to WDW to check it out :D

Was at MK earlier today and yes it is temporary.

I would guess it is more of a random process. There would be thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of photos taken each day
Yes, I believe I read somewhere that there are an average of 100,000 to 125,000 pictures taken each day at WDW by the PhotoPass photographers!

Sounds like a good plan.

We just missed the show the last time we were there. :-( Will have to definitely make sure we catch it next time.

To be honest, I'd be very surprised if it were Louise Warren again - the voice is IMO too different for that.

I would guess it is permanent as long as this show is playing. I am curious to see a daytime photo and see how well it blends in though. I know when I was traveling in Europe they had castles that were undergoing renovations and the scrims that they had over the castles were printed to look exactly like what was underneath. I would think Disney would do pretty well at that themselves if they choose to do so ;)
Judging by the looks of that screen in the video, the material isn't too thick - should be possible to reel it up during the day, if they did a good job installing it. That way, there would be only the bar on which it'd be rolled up and maybe a few cables which have to be hidden.

...but I guess somebody will have to go there to tell us how it really is :mickey:

Oh, I didn't read the article, I was going on what they had been saying on tv about sending in your photos and videos.
I recall seeing someting on Facebook recently indicating you could send in photos. I'll have to go back and look for it.

I find this overrated... just like what it is attached to (AHEM, Wishes). Cool idea but has never impressed me.

The animations on the castle really do look quite amazing in the videos though!

You're not alone, Soarin08. I don't find Wishes better than other fireworks I've seen (but I did like the DL's 50th fireworks)...
