Disney is the best place to be silly. Everyone is in the mood for a good time so if you act a little crazy no one really thinks it is weird :D Unless it is a grown Tennessee-New Yorker dancing in a red sequined dress...that might draw a few stares
Who's got sequins? I could add them! Thanks for the idea, they'll go really good with that slit up the side! THANKS AMY!! ;+>
Oh shoot! I thought there were sequins...are they rhinestones instead? Because those catch the light and make it even more sparkly :D I'm sure Baloo can handle the bedazzler without a problem given her craftiness! ;)

On a solo trip in 2008 (conference) I spent 4 days at the WDW parks. I spent a good part of my time at the parks, DTD and the Boardwalk hitting every shop looking for the latest Disney hockey jersey. I have one from 2008 (white, which I wear to play in), but wanted a dark jersey as well. Never found one - it was June afterall. I did discover just how much of the same stuff is available virtually everywhere at WDW. Silly use of my time, in retrospect.

Also, on our July 2010 trip, I lost my cell phone on Caroussel of Progress. We left MK and headed back to BCV via EPCOT via the monorail. While in transit, another guest found my phone and called the pre-programmed 'Other Phone' number (DW phone) to let us know they were leaving it with a cast memeber at Caroussel. I stayed on the Monorail, went back into MK, threaded through the thick midday crouds in the crazy heat to Caroussel, only to discover that no cast memeber had any idea what I was talking about. An adventure, sure, but I would rather have been in the resort pool instead. Got the phone back the next day from the lost and found at T&T. I should have just waited.
Can't get back to WDW soon enought, but alas, no immediate plans...

I've noticed from other people mentioning it on the boards here that the stores have become quite homogenized in terms of merchandise. While it is nice to be able to pop in anywhere and find what you are looking for, I think I will miss the hunt for the unique souvenir in a little out of the way shop. :(

This isn't very silly but on our honeymoon trip my husband and I kissed for our Splash Mountain picture. It is a really great picture, especially because the other people in our log looked truly terrified by the big drop!
I don't think they let you do this anymore to be honest. I kissed my g/f on the CHEEK on Splash for the picture and they DELETED IT as being inappropriate!

That's my silliest at WDW is making all kinds of weird faces and poses for the pictures. Pretty unoriginal but oh well. If you want to go outside WDW, my dad and I try to get ET to say weird names at the end, but he can't even say regular names so that's kind of a fail.

Maybe there was something more inappropriate going on in the log behind you?!
As for ET, we were on a vehicle once with a whole bunch of foreign tourists so ET was having a real rough time pronouncing all those names!

We tried to get him to say something we found funny on one trip and it was like Captain Gregory or something like that and my dad actually went up to the little "passport" lady and said his name was "Captain" so that I could go up and say Gregory. But ET stinks at life aparently and could pronounce neither.

And I don't think there was anything else inappropriate going on unless a little girl and/or her mom flipped the cameras the bird or something....though that it quite possible.... hmmm.

I don't think the CM at ET even blink when people tell them their name!
As for the little girl and her Mom...could happen, sad but true these days

Well not to tell my age or anything but that was almost 13 years ago so who knows what they do now. But at the time the CM who handed us our pic said "Awesome picture!"

I have not really done too much silly stuff with the pictures. I made sure to wave to the camera for the ToT drop, but that is about it.

As for other silly things: I have successfully sang "I'm a little teapot", "Itzy Bitzy Spider", and the "Hokey Pokey" at Prime Time.

I must ask...what defines a successful singing of those songs at Prime Time?!

It's either getting through the whole song without forgetting the words or the motions...

OR

It's having the whole restaurant pay attention to you while you are singing and not totally ignoring you which makes for an awkward moment when you finish... but I'm no expert...

L O L!!!
Because we all know EXACTLY what song you are talking about.

I was thinking that the silliest thing I've ever done at WDW is to keep going in mid-August every year.

MonPet you are not silly for doing that. Every time we have went it has been in the dead heat of the Florida summer. BB: I have been busy with a lot of random stuff that has prevented me from getting the video up. I'll try for this weekend but I can't guarantee it.

NaCler it's a bit of both. I was warned by our server that I needed to get the words right and motions correct or I would be going around the restaurant singing it to every "room" until I did it correct. The second part is also true. The worst was during the Hokey Pokey the entire restaurant got quiet and our room got really loud with everybody else singing along as the other misbehaving person and I did the dance.
