Yeah, even though this guy was at least 6 or 7 years older than us, he liked to flirt too. I think it's just their nature too. I had one other run in with a guy who worked in the gift shop...nothing happened, I wasn't flirting (DH disagrees) but the guy behind the counter was!

It's time to bring imagination back to the Imagination Pavilion so I'd bring back Figgy and Dreamfinder like Boilerbabe said, but totally throw top notch technology into it that really brings you into the story, something interactive. I would also include dreamworks like MmeLeota suggested but once again really modernize it with cutting edge technology. Make it a place that brings to you the same feeling of wonder and awe that toddler feels everytime they see something new. Of course permanently banning Capt. Eo and HISTA from the pavilion would be a must. They could actually make a 4-D show about "Imagination" there would be no limits on how awesome that could be...

I would also restore the Akershaus to it's pre-princess state like Arete suggested and bring back the original menu (loved that game pie).

Wonders of Life Pavilion....come on....there is so much going on in biology that you could make that pavilion have an amazing comeback...doesn't even have to be just human life...it is the Wonders of "Life" pavilion after all....

Use some of that up and coming nano invisibility cloak technology that is starting to work and make Soarin' blend in a little better...

And as much as I say update....go back to the old Living Seas....this one plain and simply stated...SUCKS.

About the Norway thing, now that hubby has taken the plunge into posting, I guess I'd better curb the Norway guy story...

I would bring back Tapestry of Nations parade and the original Figment attraction. Never had a beaver tail but they sound yummy...kind of painful for a beaver though!!

I would update some things in future world. They have a lot of things that were envision as the future 30 years ago (like spaceship earth).

Wow this really doesn't seem like a tough one at all. I would change around Future World. I would definitely find a way to utilize Wonders of Life since that area is right now a big waste. I would redo immagination. It needs to actualy have the mind and immagination put back in it. Captain EO is not the solution to it.

Finally, this one might get a bit of critique but I would change soarin' to be soarin' over the world. It would be a great way to tie the entire park together. I would not change any of the music though!

Since it's in the Land Pavilion, I wanted Soarin' to be "Soarin' over the Land" - such as deserts, mountains, great fields of wheat, the Amazon rainforest, and other varied terrains.

I agree, Len90, gut the Imagination pavilion and replace everything in it! Captain Eo is no solution! The image works area has been closed for a long time - do something with that wasted space too!

The Wonders of Life is a wasted area, I agree with you on that Len90. If its not brought back with its original theme - then do something else with a new theme.

Also, get rid of that tack awning stuff cluttering the area behind the ball and around the fountain. It just looks like junk.

I like all of those ideas mindflipper.

I wish people would stop thnking that Captain EO is supposed to be a replacement for HISTA. It's temporary! (Fall for DL, not sure how long for the other parks) It's Disney trying to cash in on people's memories and nostalgia! I know I said this before, but no one knows what Disney has up their sleeves for the HISTA replacement. I'm sure whatever it is, it will blow us all away! But it takes time to develop and build out these things...and though they've probably been working on it for quite some time now, with all other projects going on right now, this buys them a little more time.

If Michael Jackson had not passed away, HISTA would have continued as normal until they bring in the new attraction and no one would have said anything. Do I think EO is outdated? Heck yeah! But I have to admit, it was nice to see it one more time. (even if all of the original effects weren't there)

The things that Disney has blown me away with in recent memory have been how little foresight they have put into things. Don't get me wrong, I know they are now paying dearly for what they have done wrong during the EISNER and post-EISNER eras. It just seems that they first do something on the cheep and then make it right. Or just get it wrong and have to start all over.

I'm not going to mention anything because even if you make fun with a stupid Disney property generated attraction or ride, you have to be afraid that some Disney corporate pinhead is going to like it!

By the way...How about SOARIN over AMERICA, not the world.
