Make sure that you book at that 180 day mark when you decide to go. It really fills up fast there and becomes challenging to get in.boilerbabe wrote:We also always say we're going to try La Cellier, that is a must do on our next trip, whenever that may be?!

My Mom is from Florida and once or twice, we drove down to see my grandparents. Trust me, you are not missing much by flying, except hours and hours of being in the car! And fighting with the siblings. Although, I do have fond memories of taking my "car suitcase" with books, and toys, and unwrapping mystery balls as we went.TikiTikiRoom wrote:My family and I have always flown down to WDW and I've always wanted to have the experience of just taking the car and driving straight down there. So naturally, after seeing that WDW is only 21 hours away I have a feeling I'll be doing that in the very near future (once I graduate college in the next few weeks of course)

I think the Monster Sound Stage, Sounds Dangerous and Kali River Rapids are the only remaining attractions that I have never been on in the 4 main parks. Well, I guess most of the dumbo-style rides I have yet to go on as well.... Man, I guess I have missed alot...sorta.... Also, never been to Blizzard Beach but hope to knock that out this summer!

I have never done:
MK: Stitch's Great Escape, Astro Orbiter, Hall of Presidents (been 20+ years), Wishes from inside the MK
EP: Reflections of China, O' Canada
DHS: Little Mermaid
AK: Rafiki's Planet Watch, Flights of Wonder, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo musical
DTD: Lego Land
One of these days I am going to make it a point to visit every resort. We're going to eat at Narcoossee's so it will be my first time inside of the Grand Floridian (weird I know).

Interesting topic
As best I can tell, I only have 4 attractions that I have not done
MK: Ariel's Grotto, Astro Orbiter, and Indy Speedway. I will never do the Speedway, and may do the others on our May trip.
AK: Kali River Rapids. I hate being drenched. We may work the schedule to ride Kali as the last thing, so then I can walk through the park soaked to the car, drive back to the hotel & change.

That is what I heard. I was hoping to see him last year when I was there. I asked around and found out he was down for maintenance since he had been experiencing technical difficulties. It might be something that most of us never got to see.Mouseoholic wrote:I still have never seen Luxo in the Studios and apparently he has been permanently retired and so I will never get to see Luxo in action.

I was lucky to see him 3 times. Unfortunately, it was right at the end of his 'show'. I never saw more than 20 seconds before he backed into his holding area. This was an unexpected show that was pretty neat. Wish it would stay.Len90 wrote:That is what I heard. I was hoping to see him last year when I was there.
