I find it interesting that both incidents (July and the current one) happened in the late night/early morning hours...
Strictly an observation....
I feel badly for those who were stuck though...I know I would have a huge problem since I am claustrophobic. Thank God everyone was ok!

They've been having problems (big and small) with the whole system (Monorails and track) for years, if not decades. It's just that the little work that they do to fix the problems is not working long-term.boilerbabe wrote:We saw this on the news while were down there, can't believe they're having major problems again!
We are all a little weird

And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

The true reason for the passengers being stranded though isn't that the cars stopped, but that the new scissor lifts or whatever they're called that the Reedy Creek rescue had bought didn't rise high enough in the section where the passengers had to wait for 3 hours. They now have added sections to those lifts so that won't happen again.
