We leave tomorrow for Food and Wine and I really appreciate all the advice from everyone. We've packed our Hand Sanitizer and will wash hands like crazy.

Cousin In Miami - We are going back to WDW for the Christmas Party, too the first weekend in December and can't wait.

Another good way to stay safe from the Flu is to do Liquors around the lake!! Germs and viruses can't survive in an alcohol environment!!

We did the F&WF a few years ago and noticed the same thing with the crowds. It seems to draw a lot of non-Disney types. By that, I mean that we were shocked by how many rude, obnoxious, party-animal types there were. Most Disney-ers in general are fairly laid back and considerate of others. But waaaaaaay too many of the folks we had to deal with that day were totally OUT...OF...CONTROL..

Nevertheless, we made the best of it, and still managed to have a good time. :)
We really enjoyed the variety of tastes from all over the world, and we figure we'll have to go back quite a few times to get to all of it. Bummer.... NOT!

We went too late last year to catch it, and we're going too late this year too, but I'm sure we'll have puuuuhhlenty more chances...

It was lots of fun and tasty, a little pricey. I agree with Mousekedude there were a lot of non disney type people after 4 pm, local party people showed up because of the special local tickets they sell. The food was awesome I would do it again.

Without pleasure island there aren't many places for people to let loose and have "fun" at Disney world anymore. So that is why there is more partiers at the food and wine fest. I love the family atmosphere in the parks, but I like to cut loose and have some fun. I enjoyed walking around having beers from around the world and playing Kim possible. The food was great and it was fun. You have to remember the wine part of the fest and maybe not bring children to it especially later in the day.
