We booked it last August for bounce back on our last free dining trip. Dh goes for the food, if he is well fed he will go anywhere. I can usually pull 2 Disney weeks out of him a year with the dining plan, free food makes him open the wallet a bit more, LOL!

I think it is a great promotion to get people there but I also feel cuz they are giving it away the choice of food has really went down in some restaurants! Just ate at Coral Reef though in march it was great!

Yes, the value of the meals has gone down, with appys and tips now not included. And also the quality of the food has deminished. You would think they would show people during the free dinning how great it is and then when they plan a trip they couldn't live without it! I did think it was a great value when we went and it was free. I dont know if I would pay for it though.

I think Disney does the free dining plan also to people who have large families :ccat: and to try get all class of working people there :figment: Its to make people think that going on vacation doesnt cost a whole ton of money :donald:

For me Disney hands down HAD the best variety and selection of food of any where I had ever been. Seems since the dining plans are given away, both selection and quality has gone way down! NO MORE FREE! please bring back the good stuff!! :) :donald:
