Oh wow, that must have been a bittersweet feeling. The excitement of being in WDW and then to have that fateful day happen. On that Saturday after 9/11, we took our kids to Six Flags Great Adventure to just get away and let the kids have some fun after a horriffic week. It was empty there as well and were able to get a lot of rides in too.FlyingMouse wrote:On Tuesday, well, Tuesday was Sept. 11, 2001.

My first WDW was back in 94 and i was five years old maybe alittle older. But from what I remember is the first thing we did when we got there is we ran to our room dumped off our luggage had we had to go to the Magic Kingdom to go see Mickey Mouse
