I fished out my copy of the blooper track. If anyone would like it, let me know.

Thanks for sending it my way, Disbeamer. Once my adaptor arrives, I will get a chance to check it out.

Jack Wagner does the voice on the shuttle at the Orlando airport too. "Please stand clear of the doors. The shuttle will be leaving momentarily for the main terminal building."

I always love hearing that because it's the first taste of Disney after I get off the plane.

I guess I'm not the only one who enjoys that tram ride back to the main terminal! The only bad part about this, is you have to listen to his voice on the sad trip home after you have left the park.

Yeah. "Whether you call Orlando home, are here on business, or enjoying our world class attractions..."

I always wish it was the first one.

If I'm not mistaken, Jack Wagner had a recording studio in his home so he could make recording for Disney any time they requested. Does someone else know if that's true?

I couldn't swear to it, however, the blooper real thing I posted about has his dog barking on it in several places, and the phone rings a couple of times. So it certainly seems possible. :)

Por favor matengese alajados de las puertas.

(which, by the way, I have heard from several native speakers that is not the correct way to say it.)

Yes, I am pretty sure I heard that in an interview once. He did all his recording at home.

If the voice seems familiar, but because you've heard it other places than Disney, You may have heard it in both the Orlando and Denver airports. He was used to make public announcements in those airports.

I would've thought he had more professional gigs (voices in movies and tv) but his IMDB page is rather sparse:

Jack Wagner can still be heard in Disneyland and Magic Kingdom today! In Disneyland he does the Disneyland Railroad Annoucements (At the train stations before and when the trains leave), and the Matterhorn safety spiels. In Walt Disney World, he obviously reserves the (Please Stand Clear of the Doors!) and does the Introduction and Conclusion Announcement in the Main Street Electrical Parade (Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls! The Magic Kingdom proudly presents a spectacular festival pagaent of nightime magic and imagination....The Main Street Electrical Parade!)

To answer the question of who takes over the monorail, currently it is Joe Hursh, who you hear on any WDW Transportation system (On the Buses, monorail, Disney's Magical Express) You hear him giving you the introduction to each park, info about the park, and welcoming you "home" after a long day!

Here is a link to a great web site with lots of stuff on Jack. It also has the blooper reel. Yes, he had a recording studio at his home.

http://www.soundofmagic.com/menu.htm

Click on TRIBUTES in the left column; then the square with JACK WAGNER TRIBUTE. This is a wonderful site for great information on a man who's voice we all love and cherish.
Step out to your left please. When the car stops, step out to your left.
