Plans for Discovery River in AK?

I was expecting to get something like that...the Jungle Cruise with real animals. Well, bugs are real animals, but you know what I mean.

I can see it now. Guests will actually be able to rumble with real hippos. I have a feeling that ride will undergo several breakdowns throughout the day.

I doubt they will ever "connect" AK with anything. Have you seen the security as you enter/exit AK? When we did the Sunrise Safari we where restricted from taking pictures until we where past the security.

Security at any park/Zoo/whatever that has exotics at it has a lot of security around it. To prevent people from stealing the animals.

I can't see poking a hole in there perimeter for a bus or a monorail. And it's just wacky to put the people off outside the fence and then what bus people in?

I believe Walt said he wanted to do a JC with live animals.

I went on it once and I forgot about it. I would love to see something awesome done to that river, like another raft ride or rollercoaster...idk
