Wasn't that the original concept of E.P.C.O.T.??? I know it wasn't meant to be like this but he DID envision people living and working there.I can't imagine that Walt ever envisioned people living at WDW.

1. the whole "remove you from reality" concept of WDW. If I am up on the top of Everest and I see someone's house...I would be pretty upset and reminded that I am only on a vacation.
I totally agree.

On another note: I am slowly losing my love for Disney. Little by little, the guest experience is becoming less and less important to them and they are more concerned about the executives bonus.

I think this is a great idea, and wish I had the income to buy one! The real "rotten apple" of this project to me is the name Four Seasons. Disney is the world's greatest hotelier IMHO, and allowing a non-Disney (read: no imagination, no story) entity to build a hotel on property is unforgiveable. Yikes.

AGREED. There is a reason Uncle Walt purchased all this land. It's a blessing. Selling it is like losing a piece of history.DisBeamer wrote:That pretty much sums up my feelings on that. It makes me sick every time I hear about them selling off land. Sooner or later, that policy (and, in my opinion, anything they do that tinkers with the Reedy Creek set up) is gonna turn around and bite them in the butt.bdinger wrote:I think this sucks. Anything that involves WDW selling off and/or losing control of their property is a bad thing.
