Between Test Track and Mexico - the low brown building near the small ponds over there.

It has been used for Pin Events and other special events. It would be nice to have another dining option in that area. That left side of the park seems to be lacking in my opinion.

Figures. I spent so much of my last trip near Test Track. I know where you're talking about, and I can see it. I can just hit myself now for not realizing what it was. Thank you.

Oh, really? Thank you. I'll definitely keep my eye open for it this November.

I once peeked inside while using the restrooms, It was really dated looking. Great restrooms though, not as crowded as some.

Here's a picture of it.

I had never been in it but DW had eaten there. They had characters that put on a show dressed in those silver space aged suits the Fab 5 plus Chip and Dale use to wear at Epcot

I ate there in the early '90's when it was the first build-a-burger location. Nice restaurant for the views but kinda weird out there all by itself.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Yea that place has been closed forever. You'd think they'd take the signs down or something, I bet they have a bunch of people ask what it is.

Can you still walk past it to get from FW to Mexico? We kept walking the long way when we were there because it looks so deserted and we didn't see anyone going past it...

That's the way we always go. I will say after Illuminations it seems to be a lot better way to get out of the park, although you get the occasional group that walks half way and thinks they're going the wrong way and tries to come back against the current and slows things up.

Last time I walked by I saw lots of Imagineers going in. I looked inside when one of the doors was opened and noticed a TV studio style video camera, maybe a meeting or videoteleconference with California?

I do know there is a Cast Member cafeteria on the back side.

Last time I was in there was for a cast event in January of '06. You can tell where the walk up counter used to be for food pickup. It's a cool space. I think they should turn it into a nice table service restaurant, if only for the great views of the fireworks from inside.
