Million Dreams Prize Team
Moderator: Moderators
I know a cast member who is on dram patrol. He gave out the 1mill. dream a few weeks ago. When he first started giving dreams away he said they have no idea what the dream is when they get the envelope. The have spacific instructions to take it some where, for instance... the person sitting on the bench to the left of the friends statue at 3:43pm if no on is sitting on the bench at 3:43pm the dream is not given out. There is no way to attract a dream. The Dream patrol doesn't even know when they will recieve a dream to give out. It's very random

We were in MGM last month waiting for the Cars character meet and greet and the dream team was there about 15 min. before. They talked and discussed with each other until they spotted who they were going to choose to be the pit crew to walk Lightning and Mater up the street.
I guess the big prizes are random but this was left up to the team.

Well I just got back (from a 3 day trip) and we didn't win any dream team "official" prizes.
But I did see like 5 dream teamers standing around and I asked to see there pin lanyards. I was looking for one pin for my wife (she needed it as a completer pin for a set.) One of the team knew which pin it was and said she didn't have one but she knew where she could get one.
Meg ran off and came back and presented the pin to my wife as a Disney Dream, and gave her the little card and everything. Very cool...
As far as them not giving out many prizes. They give out about 1828 prizes per day (~1 million prizes/18 months.) Which isn't that many considering it's divided by 4 parks, plus DTD, water parks and mail ins (so that is something like 460 prizes per park per day.) Of those 460 prizes some large number of them on any given day are Dream Fastpasses (which are given out in lots of ~50.)
When I got the pin for my wife (see above posting) as the dream team people headed away they told us they where "headed" to Storytelling at the UK (I think.) Which I couldn't go to (we had a flight to miss, which is a whole 'nother story) but seemed to indicate we might want to head over there with them.

They are there. I've seen quite a few Dream Team people while I was in the parks.castmember04 wrote:I don't think they give out as many dreams as they lead us to believe. We were there for two weeks since this program started, adn were at the parks all day everyday and we didn't see once this dream patrol walking around.
