I've spent two birthdays at WDW... 25th and 26th. The 25th I spent in the Magic Kingdom on a day I had tix to MVMCP... that was fun, for sure.
But the 26th I spent at AK, and this was before Everest. I really don't give AK enough credit as a park... the shows and the detail in everything blow me away. I spent my birthday attaining a whole new appreciation for WDW's fourth gate. I recommend the same to you.

I guess you could say that my Dec trip was for my birthday, since the b-day was on the 30th of November. The first night there was spent in EPCOT as well as the whole next day. It is scary that I still forget my birthday.

Sounds like you gotta spend it at Epcot to please the masses... but is that what it's really about? Hit'em all up! But end up in Epcot... I have to agree w/ most here, can't beat the eat and drinks!
I would also mention that too much planning makes one rush to stick with the plan and not get to enjoy ones self. It's not a first trip for you, so just go with NO plan and enjoy! Make sure to do something you've never done before to make it a birthday you won't forget.

My vote is, just go to your favorite park. I'd push MK, my favorite, but it would make no sense for you to spend YOUR birthday in MY favorite part. Heck, that's just nonsense. But be sure to get yourself a birthday button.
I spent my last birthday at WDW. I went to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Started in Epcot (my dad's present was money for me to leave a legacy
) but I only do Future World becasue I don't like the World Showcase. I once toured Future World for eight hours. Let it never be said that The Clever Arachnid don't know how to tour Future World. She can spend an hour in the Imagination! pavillion, two if Figment is out.
But on my birthday I only stayed until one o' clock. I'm just saying this because Epcot was winning because of the World Showcase.
Anyway, a word of caution to anyone planning to spend their birthday at WDW. I got so excited and swept up in everything that the only time I stopped to take a break was at lunch, to sit in Cosmic Ray's and wait for Sonny E to wish me a happy birthday. By the end of the day I was so dehydrated and exhausted I had to get first aid to take me home (their offer, I just went there to lie down.) Be sure to take frequent breaks to get off your feet and some water in you
Without a doubt, it was the best birthday I ever had.

I've celebrated two birthdays at Walt Disney World, both times as an intern on the program so I had a lot of--ahem--"extra" stuff going on, but the second time I did it this is how it went: start off at the Magic Kingdom. Stop by City Hall and get your birthday button so that you might get some preferrential treatment from cast members thereafter. One of my fellow interns even talked his way into getting us to the front of the line at Splash Mountain because it was my birthday.
Anyway, start off there and then end up at Epcot for some treats in the World Showcase and a viewing of Illuminations. Recipe for success! But since you dig DAK so much (I admit that it grows on me every time I go too), maybe you should start out there because it closes so early, you can always hop to another park after that. I wish I was celebrating my 25th birthday this year at Epcot since we both debuted in '82!
