It's interesting... though we've established that there are many more deluxe resorts than either value or moderate, the tale is different when you look at the number of rooms and not resorts...
Total rooms on Disney property (including Swan and Dolphin): 27,423
Value rooms: 11,600 (42.3%)
Moderate rooms: 7,135 (26.0%)
Deluxe rooms: 8,688 (31.7%)
So it definitely appears that more Mods would be nice. Once the Pop Century Phase Two resort goes in, if it is about the same size as the current Pop, will add another 5,700-or-so value rooms.
If you don't count the Swan and Dolphin, there are slightly less Deluxe rooms (6,421) than Moderate rooms... but still... I think it looks like a new Moderate resort would be very welcome, indeed.
