I just realized, I don't remember any of the endings. :( I'll miss that ride.

It was a long time ago, but as I recall, mostly just sub like vehicles flying around like planes, fish, etc.

This was a cool ride, but the new one with figment is good. Especially the Sherman brothere's score!

Are you talking about Horizons or Imagination?

In the Land sequence, you were zipping over the desert in one of those hovercraft you see in the loranges scene (yes, Loranges, futuristic oranges). It ends with a touch down on one of the landing pads and dust scatters below you.

In the Sea sequence, you are in one of the mini subs. It docks in an underwater port.

In the Space sequence, seemingly the most popular, you fly one of the mini space pods which looks suspiciously similar to the mini sub. The space pod docs in the port of an orbiting space colony at the end.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

I feel like a massive traitor every time I say this, but I really liked Mission:Space!!! (And yes, I voted for Horizons) I just wish that the park would have had space for both rides...

Oh, and for those of you wondering - I'm pretty prone to motion sickness (unless I'm driving - ) and I had no problems on that ride. In fact, I've ridden it twice in the span of an hour and had no problems... I've been on every space simulator you can think of at Space Academy etc etc... and none of them compared to this one!!!

That being said, I do miss Horizons. *sniffle*

Horizons vs. Mission: Space

Post by sockfire » Aug Tue 03, 2004 10:19 pm

I haven't even been on Mission: Space, but I was very excited to hear about it. I love Horizons, but it lives on in the camcorders of people around the globe. Hopefully the will update Mission Space in 15-20 years just like they did to Horizons.

Horizons was cool.. but there is now way you can compare it to Mission Space. Misson Space is incredible. If you can't handle Mission Space its not Disney's a fault you are not astronaut material! :)

Sub, just close your eyes on the Tea Cups and spin around really fast while occasionally tilting your head back and forth to feel the gravity change and blood flow in your head while having Cliff sit next to you and your all set! It will be like a mini Mission:Space.
If Cliff pukes your on the right track.

Oh yeah, they have barf bags in the ride too.

Really? Do they have Disney logos? I'm sure people take them all the time then.
