I went to Disneyland when I was 2 and I swear to god i remember it barely. If you want to take a 2 or 3 year old, try do something so dramatic during the trip and then keep reminding them about it so they'll never forget. :D
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

We can't you old fool, WE'RE BOLTED TO THE SEATS!!!

We went when I was 4 and 6 and my mother refers to it all the time. "Remeber whenn we...?" I can;t remeber anything from those trips. only reminder I had that I was every there at those times are a scat few pictures that are remaining and viewable (some are so faded you can;t make anything out). I recommend getting the children immersed in the magic as soon as possible, but I totally agree that when you take them young, it's more for the adults to remember than the kids.

We took our son for the first time last May when he was almost 3 1/2. It was a good age for him. We rented a stroller every day, and that made all the difference in the world. Couldn't have made it without one.

He's going to remember some of it, but that's mainly because we videotaped everything and pull out the DVD every few months and watch some of it. Come to think of it, it's been a while since we've done that ....

I remeber pars of a trip that my family took when I was three, even now that I'[m 30! Maybe part of the magic is what the parents to to make the experience more memorable. I'm not offering examples since the chemistry it still a mystery to me as well... but I will follow up should any obvious observations come to mind.
