I love the talking water fountains. We make it a tradidtion to get a drink there every time we are in Epcot.
Where are they :?: I only remember them because it scared me when I was little, but my family forgot where it was :(

I've run into Push a few times in Tomorrowland at WDW. Funny character. :D

I just checked out that website, thanks for listing it. I have never seen him, and one of my co-workers just got back from Orlando and he said they didn't see PUSH either. I would love to see this when I get to go, whenever that may be, I hope he is still around. Is he operated remotely, surely there isn't someone actually inside there is there?????

I believe I've read somewhere that he is handled remotely, and you'll always notice him somewhere near an area with alot of bushes. The controller is hiding in the bushes, peering through the branches at what's going on.

Same for us! It's a challenge for the kids to remember from trip to trip where the drinking fountain is located (I think it's in the area between FutureWorld and World Showcase). When they find it, they both have to get multiple drinks of water so they can listen to it talk-- some of the jokes are pretty funny.

Js it is remote but the guy just stands about 10ft. away( in the open, shade if it's hot) and no one looks at him because they are looking and listening to push. I will see if I can find one of my pics, maybe I have one with him in the background.

SPOILER (of a sort)

Yes, the operator is fun to spot. At WDW he wears a duffel bag over one shoulder (carries the transmitter) and has a mic running up his sleeve to his palm. I figure this is the same configuration for the other parks too. It's funny how easy it is for him to stand in plain sight and not be noticed.

I love it my brother and I try to spot him whenever hes around. I was approached by him one day (push that is) and I already saw the controller. He asked me if I was done with my food and if I was to through it away, then he did a couple of little turns to shoo away the kids trying to climb on him. It didn't work and the kids keep climbing on and then I got up and told the kids in a firm voice to "Stay off of push" and "If you keep doing that one of two things will happen you break an harm or a leg or you will be thrown out of the park" They stopped jumping on him. Push thanked me and as the guy walked past I said "Your Welcome". He looked at me like how did you know.

That's funny! I wonder if they'll try to change the disguise once too many of us fans figure it out.

On our last trip I saw the guy operating push. He was dressed in all black. I got a short video of him. A couple years ago we ran into a talking tree out in front of the AK. We also saw the guy operating that. They do carry a fairly large duffle bag, so they are not too hard to spot if you know what you are looking for.

I have never seen one talking trash can! I have been to Disney on 6 trips in the last 5 years. All for at least 2 weeks.

If you hang around tomorrowland long enough you will see "push" atleast once. Usually just follow all of the kids in a big group, the little ones all try to monopolize it.

we just saw Push at MK near tomorrowland (he eventually went into the land) around Parade time during our December trip. the operator was fairly easy to spot too. he had on a hat, sunglasses, a coat (on a day that was near 85 degrees out) as well as the duffle bag (it was almost like a messenger bag).

he's (the operator) easiest to spot when looking at his face. he's always holding his hand up to his mouth, looking like he's thinking/coughing constantly. if you're close enough, you may evem hear him talking (a fairly louder whisper).
