Without question, my wife and I rank Ohana's as the best resturant in the "world". With the Mexican resturant in EPCOT a close second. I must say though, I havn't really had bad food in the World anywhere! IT'S ALL GREAT!

I've heard the San Angel Inn at Epcot is good Mexican food... but can anyone from, say, NM/AZ/CA or even West Texas confirm this? I've found that growing up in CA I've gotten used to very, very good (and cheap) authentic Mexican and Chinese food, and I'm usually disappointed when I have some such food recommended to me while on the east coast or the midwest.

Now this is a topic I can sink my teeth into!!! We always go to different place to eat.

Marrakesh in EPCOT is AWESOME!!

Ohana is great! The California grill was nice. Expensive, but good california style.

Who can forget the Coral reef! Mmmmm.....

I'm not sure what % of places I've tried in all teh parks and resorts, but its pretty high.

Our favorites,

Breakfast - Chef Mickey's, Trails End or BOMA
Lunch - Pecos Bills, Flame Tree BBQ and Tusker House
Dinner - we have several. Crystal Palace, BOMA (the best buffet in the World), Teppanyaki, Hollywood Brown Derby

The only bad meal I've ever had was breakfast at restaurantosarus, We will never go there again.

Mexico is great! Good food and super atmosphere . . . totally different than most Epcot restaurants as far as emersion of theme. You actually feel like you're in a Mexican village. As far as AKL - we ate at Jiko - DEFINATELY worth it! Didn't try Bomas, but plan to next trip!

Enjoy your vacation!

The list of countries that I've ate in:

Norway
Germany
Italy
United Kingdom
Canada

So I still have to do Japan, China, Mexico, Morocco, and France to complete my journey!

My only suggestion for China is to make sure you ask for no MSG. When we ate there 5 years ago, it was loaded with it and tasted pretty bad. We'll probably try it again in the future, but not before we do some of the other countries. By the way, Japan is so much fun as the chef prepares the meal right on front of you. Very entertaining. :D

We were just there for the food and wine festival, and we planned on sampling instead of dinning, but after adding up the few samples we got we decided that the 2nd Epcot day we would go back to the regular sit down, as always our favorites are Germany which is great especially for the kids with the live show they do, Mexico which is probrably the most realistic, plus its great watching the volcano, Ohana which is also great for the children, they get to participate, although they changed there menu this time we weren't impressed. Boma by far the best (as said above) buffet going everyone can find something and very relaxing for a buffet dinner.

Anywhere in EPCOT... I've found that the 'world' type restaurants are some of the best. You can get a real taste of the world, all in one day!
