Back then that slide seemed really big, but now when I see it it seems tiny

AKL is cool, but waaay to crowded. My fav so far is Saratoga Springs. 3 pools. But kidies can only go in the main one. Not usually that crowded.

The Caribbean Beach pool is pretty neat, I enjoyed that one. I also like the computer pool in Pop Century mainly because my room was right next to that pool and it was never crowded so didn't even have to worry about noise.

The story that Ill never forget though is the Hot tub in Dixie Landings. It was real cool talking with people all over the world about random stuff. But once someone left, a new girl arrived and we asked each other where we all were from, Well the new girl turned out to be from my hometown, Talk about a weird coicidence!

Afterwards, Myself, the girl, and 2 other kids our age hung around the hotel just walking around and getting to know each other. We didn't go back to our room until around 3 o clockish. :)
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I know this is kinda off topic, but the same thing happens to us. Almost every year we meet our neighbors up the street at WDW, it's not planned or anything. It's really freaky  . Great minds think alike I guess. (It's always at EPCOT too :? )

Every year that my brother and I go down he gets a call from work on his Nextel, "Hey Kyle can you setup classroom B" or Kyle, "can you come up to the Security desk", Or my favorite which happened this year

work-"Can you go and get the paychecks this week no one is in today" HA.
kyle- "Yeah,I'll do it as soon as I get back"
work- "when will that be"
Kyle- "Next week I'm in Florida"

We have used the pool only a couple of times in all of the trips we have taken to WDW. When I am at Disney I want to do DISNEY, and I can swim or take a nap at home. We catch the first bus out to the parks (Early Entry) every day and the last bus back each night, so there is not time to swim at the resort pool. One day we will do BB or TL (usually BB) to use the watere parks, but very little swimming at the pools at the resort.

We always take a pool break. The YC/BC pool is awesome, but I do like the slide at the BWI better....

WHile I've never seen the pool at YC/BC, none of the others wow'd me. GF is very nicely maintained area......Contemporary reminds me of the YMCA, not much "character"...I wouldn't go out of my way to spend time at any of them.

At the Boardwalk is that big pipe coming down from the ship a slide? I've only seen it at night and I couldn't really tell.

Chesire - The slide in which you are speaking is located at the Yacht Club and Beach Club Resort. Yes, though, it is a big slide that comes out of the ship and into the pool. Quite fun!

The slide at the Boardwalk pool is supposed to resemble a roller coaster. It has all kinds of curves and exits out of the mouth of a clown. I haven't tried it, but it looks like it'd be fun.

I didn't know that Yacht and Beach club was that close to the Boardwalk. My family and I took a walk round the lake counterclockwise starting at the Boardwalk's main entrance. It was dark and I assumed it was all part of the Boardwalk resort (and villas)

Yea, isn't it cool that you could take a nice leisurly stroll and come across another beautiful resort - and not have to take a bus to get there?! When we stay at the Beach Club Villas, we always eat as ESPN Club and pick up some bakery at the Boardwalk. When we stay at the Boardwalk Villas, we always grab a bite to eat at Beaches and Cream. It's nice to have so many great places to eat so close together. :D

Why use hotel pools. it makes so much sense to go to a waterpark.
