I was going to say "They are just starting on the track now?" because I thought it was supposed to open next year, but I see it's sometime in 2014.

Yeah since we go, on average, every 2 years, it will be timed just about right.

UPDATE: Big Top Souvenirs and Pete's Silly Sideshow are both open. With Pete's being a M&G, the characters who appear here will not appear in certain places anymore: Goofy no longer in Adventureland, Chip and Dale no longer in Tomorrowland, Donald no longer in Frontierland, Daisy and Minnie no longer in Town Square on Main Street.

And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

That's too bad they are taking the characters away from the other spots. It would be nice if they could be in both areas so more people could see them!

Not always. Sometimes there are guests who just have to see every variant of the characters (i.e. Belle in her blue dress and then her yellow dress.

Good points! If they are narrowing the characters down to just one spot, does that mean they won't have the different costumes like when they were found in different areas of the parks?

Depends on the character(s). With Donald's move from Frontierland and no longer dressing as Davy Crockett, Chip and Dale will move to that location dressed as cowboys and no longer doing M&G in their Tomorrowland outfits. Then you have the Fab Five over in Character Spot in Epcot in their regular outfits but done up like circus performers at Pete's in Fantasyland.

Speaking of, it must be hell for the continuity writers for the christmas day parade becuase the characters shown at DLR must not be the same ones shown at WDW.

Wait...how can you take away Donald "Davy" Crockett? When I picture Donald Duck walking around in MK...he's always in his Davy Crockett costume. This makes me a little sad.

He was only Donald Crockett in Frontierland. Everywhere else was more likely his usual no pants ensemble.

:donald: I don't think Donald wears pants in ANY of his overlays. ( or as someone called them, "costume variants")

Donald's bathing suit is a full-body suit...so I guess covering up his lower half is important if he is going to the beach. ;)

I'm upset with this news as I was looking forward to having this M&G be with more obscure characters instead of the "main stream" characters. The posters made it look like you would meet the little pigs or BB Wolf, etc...
