Re: Refurbishment News
That seems kind of close for a refurbishment for La Nouba, I wonder if they were already noted as being dark on their schedule?

They are mostly/all immigrants, it is Florida, so I am guessing you could shoot them and get away with it. No vacations!

Interesting that the live action show takes three days, while the film show takes more than a month. I wonder if the bean counters factor in long term maintenance when deciding that paying people costs more than having everything automated.Cardinals314 wrote:November Refurbishment Schedule:

Re: Refurbishment News
I think that they don't factor in as much since they always try to get all their stuff ready for the holiday crowds before the holiday.
Though there is also the reality that one is a stage show where the most abuse the guests can do to the place is wear and tear on the seats and carpet for a few hours a night, and the other is a playground where the kids are encouraged to beat the hell out of the equipment. Even with low traffic due to it being a forgotten franchise, it had to look beat to hell by the time the refurb happened.
I wonder if the La Nouba thing is just steam cleaning the floors and seats and repainting the walls?

Not only that, but La Nouba is probably also giving the performers a break before the holiday season begins.Wizzard419 wrote:I think that they don't factor in as much since they always try to get all their stuff ready for the holiday crowds before the holiday.

Re: Refurbishment News
Again.... No breaks for immigrants and circus folk!
Actually, I would imagine they don't get much of a break beyond having their night free during the shutdown since they still have to train and all that. Las Vegas already had a fatality and an injury (last night) in their Cirque shows.

Re: Refurbishment News
Anyone know what kind of refurb they are doing to Pinocchio Village Haus? When I was there a couple weeks ago, the whole front of it is closed off and there is only one door on the side you can go through. Just a refurb of the outside and then inside or any changes?Cardinals314 wrote:A lot of attractions have recently been added to the refurbishment schedule in 2014:
