I still think it would be cool if they changed the film to soarin' over the world. It would help show off more of the countries that are in Epcot. They could soar over the beauty of China, and Paris, and England. And then end flying over Disney World.

Thats a good point but of course the movie would probably be 30 minutes long and some people may get bored or tired of the moving. Peoples attention span is usually pretty short. But I do love the ides of flying over Disney though. They really should have done that in the first place.

Not necessarily 30 minutes long. I'm sure they could just fly over the countries in EPCOT in a matter of minutes like they do in the film now. Just pick out quick key sceneries.

Soarn' over the world actually sounds more appealing than flying over America, and it would fit into EPCOT perfectly!

See I disagree... I want to fly over the great monuments and wonderful scenery of the land I love!
Think about it... you could soar over Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, the Rockies, any one of the Great Lakes, Washington, D.C., the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, Manhattan... the possibilities are endless!

You just gave me a great idea, I don't know if anyone else has thought about this but I think Disney should have left Food Rocks where it was and made a Soran' ride at one of the countries instead. World Showcase seems to get more boring for me evertime I go, and that would make it more interesting.

Ah!! Stereo!!
Well if they did put it in the WS they would have on heck of a time trying to locate it. If they had a Air or Sky Pavillion that would be the best place for it. With Sorin you are flying over the land so I guess the place they had to put it was the Land.
And spaulo is right with this adaptation,
Sorin' Over America (WDW)
Sorin' Over Europe (DLP)
Sorin' Over Japan (take a guess)
Sorin' Over China (and you guessed it Brazil........got ya.....China)
Sorin' Over Austrailia (It is almost assured it will happen and you know it

)
Eventually Disney will be on ever continent, it's only a matter of time.

Soarin is one of the best, if not the best, ride in all of WDW. Even if you arent that high up it sure seems as if you are.

You know I was just thinking, what if they did an IMAX type of thing were they change it every so often like once a year or 1 1/2 years. It would make it new for longer. Just a thought not a suggestion.

Disney has come up with many great virtual rides such as soarin' and mission space and of course many at DisneyQuest. They're things no one else would think of in a million years, but Disney.
(I didn't mean to post twice on the 24th, I don't know what happened

I just posted something similar in another thread, but I thought it appropriate to repeat it here also.
We just experianced Soarin' for the first time this month. After the ride was over and "landed" the riders all spontaneously began applauding. I have never been on an attraction where that happened before. Have other people had the same experience? I must admit I was moved and joined in the applause.

Actually the attraction it replaced, Food Rocks!, seemed to be the only animatronic show people applauded for, along with Country Bear Jamboree

People applauded after Space Mountain at Disneyland re-opened this summer. And they are applauding after they get off of Everest.
