Woohoo! and right at Christmas. Do they decorate everywhere in the parks? I've never been at Christmas time. I'm just guessing if they do then this would be all decked out and look entirely different from it's usual look right from the start. Cool pics if they do.

Don't bet on it. If they do go with holiday decorations for FLE, it'll probably happen next year.

I've been there during the holidays, and I pretty much remember that the decorations stopped at the castle; fantasyland didn't have much decorations at all that I recall.

That seems odd, that they would decorate the whole park and leave the FLE undecorated? That doesnt seem like Disney. When they decorate, they go all out, they wouldnt want to ruin the magic by having part of the park not ready for the holidays.

Oh so just probably Main Street and the Castle and the rest of the park is left normal? I would think it would feel empty feeling. Which makes me think of Epcot. We have always gone during the Flower and Garden Festival and I saw some photos of the flowers and topiaries being taken down and it looked SO empty. I am so glad that this is going on when we go.

That sounds about right, since the WDW fantasyland doesn't do Small World Holiday (I think) they really have no ties for decoration. Even at DLR, other than castle and the walkway up to Small world, there are not that many decorations there. I think a deciding factor seems to be if the area depicted is supposed to be a town, so Toontown gets it but Tomorrowland gets nothing.

Tomorrowland doesn't have decorations either. Aside from holiday music, that's about all you'll notice for the holidays in entire parks. Off the top of my head, the only place I can remember seeing that has/had decorations that wasn't the main entrance/street is/was Sunset Blvd at MGM.

I remember a few years back when I went to DLR during the holiday season NOS had a mardi gras themed christmas decorations and Fronteirland had wreaths made out sage brush and rope with horse shoes and mini-sized cowboy boots adorning them. Toontown was decorated as well, but as there are no straight lines in Toontown, the tree was curved/bent. Tomorrowland had no decorations.

Does WDW get holiday music in their tomorrowland? I know DLR doesn't but I think I may have seen that Tokyo does.

Usually its Christmas music only in the Entrance Gate & Main Street area of WDW Magic Kingdom and nowhere else.

Ah, I am surprised they don't do anything for liberty square and whatnot. I think at DLR the entrance, main street, frontierland, and possibly toontown, New orelans square, and critter country get holiday loops. Fantasyland sort of has one as you walk closer to small world as well.

UPDATE: Nice, new, detailed (albeit not very big) concept art for FLE.
