Happy belated birthday, MadEye!

First off happy belated birthday. More importantly, why didn't you message me as I was in MK on Friday as well. The rain did hamper efforts to take pictures but it did finally stop at by 7pm. I'd get a picture up next time I use my compute. If you were to draw a line from the snow-white sign to the ground that would be around where the wall would be. In all honesty right now fantasyland really is not great. All that exists between pooh and the carousel now is that little drink stand next to snow-white and a walkways of walls. It is narrow, but IMO it didn't seem as narrow as the walkway of walls in DCA.

And now some of Pooh is behind walls again. I guess they are finally removing the Tigger's bouncy area.

Did that area never actually work then?

I think they realized it wasn't very safe before they opened it to the public so they just left it alone.

Oh. That would make sense too!

Was the bouncy area like Goofy's Bounce House (basically a giant bouncy castle)? I'm guessing the DLR version closed mostly because of safety but also because of the expanding weight of americans and how it wears on such things.

Nope. Certain spots in the area, colored orange and black, like a tiger. As to what is going there, it's the new area for the Pooh, Tigger, any other Pooh characters Meet and Greet.

It is truly a walkway of walls now if you make your way from the carousel to the new dumbo. Add that to all the Main Street facade restorations and you have a full blown park of walls.

Here is Snow White behind walls for those who have not seen. Took this on Friday evening after the rains ended.

Hopefully all the walls will be worth it once everything is opened once again. I will actually miss Snow White's Scary Adventures though :(

The big wall, with the vintage-looking gable of Snow White peeking above it, makes me feel sad. I didn't ride Snow White the last two times we went to WDW, so I understand why it's getting the boot and the space being reassigned, but still. Does anyone know what's going to be done with the space?

From what I read it's going to be a meet-and-greet area for Disney Princesses.

TOTALLY agree with the writer - too many "meet and greets" !!!!! These are super-cheap for Disney to operate but IMHO it's just a long line to stand in and wait, rather than enjoy the original purpose of DLR and WDW. The more I read, the more it seems that WDW is becoming more focused on being a cash cow and less focused on what Walt intended - a way for families to leave the everyday world and be immersed in Disney fantasy. That saddens me.
