Hi All -

I'm not sure if this question has been asked or discussed yet, but I'm wondering if anyone knows approximately when more things are going to open in Fantasyland - ie: beast's castle, little mermaid ride, be our guest, etc. I keep finding everything saying 'late 2012' but what do they mean by that??
There is a chance that we will be in DW the last week in October, so I'm wondering if we have any chance of seeing any new attractions?!?

A good guess for late 2012 will mean anytime between October and the end of December. Your ticker has you 8 months out, which is sometime around the start of 2013. I think you should be able to see some of the stuff so long as construction keeps going along without any major hiccups.

I was wondering, what makes the dumbos into dueling dumbos? Are they just near each other and going in oposite directions?

Well, from what I remember about a park guest assault some time ago at WDW, I thought the "dueling" applied to the impatient people waiting in the queue as they turn on each other...

UPDATE: The Castle Wall is making progress.

This photo shows the progress of the construction. The former Dumbo area is to the left and the Ice Cream counter service next to Pooh is to the right. It was taken in front of Friar's Nook.

Ahh very interesting. It looks like I will miss the second half of Dumbo unless they start soft opening it in early June (i highly doubt it though). I will say that there is a lot of reason to start planning a trip for 2013 and then another one for 2014. I just can't believe the Mine train is really going to be that long. I know it was decided on later, but they really weren't starting that much later on it.
