Fantasyland Expansion

i don't see whay they would change it, it is not like it is a thrill ride or anything, it was almost perfect for my son's first Rollercoaster ride 4 yrs ago

Barnstormer kinda fit the MTTF area but wouldn't have fit the circus theme that will replace it. Therefore a re-theme was needed. Bad example, I know, but think of it like Disney wanting to build Toy Story Mania at Animal Kingdom. Doesn't fit.

he used to be in the center of the flying Dumbo's...but did not see him in the pictures posted



so I was wondering if they were going to have him anywhere in that area

he used to be in the center of the flying Dumbo's...but did not see him in the pictures posted so I was wondering if they were going to have him anywhere in that area

maybe on the dumbo that they moved... they do not have to be identical...

I would guess Timothy Mouse will be on the other Dumbo since the storks are on this one. He's sort of important to the story with his magical feather!

The only thing I don't like about the new Dumbo is the view of the castle. One of the things that made Dumbo so special was spinning around looking at the castle. In one of those pictures the view of the castle is mostly covered by trees in the way. I know it sounds picky, but it'll take some getting used to.

I noticed the lack a view as well. I will reserve judgement until all the construction is finished though ~ maybe the scenery will improve...

Maybe the view will be better from Dumbo #2? I agree with you guys. The old location of the Dumbo ride was such that it was in the middle of the action - it was an icon of Fantasyland as much as an attraction itself. It's nice to see expansions and improvements happen, so maybe the new location will be better. I don't want to sound like a grouchy old woman, but sometimes I like things to be left the way they are. We'll see...

Well, seeing as how they are basically just moving the Dumbo in that photo next door to the one that soft opened yesterday, it's a possibility.

WOW...that looks so awesome at night!

If this simple little area can look this good...it makes me even more excited to see what the rest of the New Fantasyland will look like at completion!!!
