Ok, I just remembered this free souvenir that I have, thanks to the "Where in the World" game. My family was in line for the Astro Orbiter, and we had gotten to the point where we had taken the elevator up and been handed the little plastic card they give you so they can keep accurate count of who is going on the ride next (they also do this on Dumbo). For whatever reason, my wife and youngest child didn't want to go, but I still went with my oldest son. I can't remember if she handed her plastic card to me and I pocketed it and forgot about it, or if she took it with her, but we ended up inadvertantly taking the card home with us. So we have this yellow plastic (formica?) card that is well worn and scratched, with no identifiable marks on it, but it technically was a free souvenir from Disney. Do you think we should try to give it back on our next trip?

Mine would have to be my "Just Married" button from my honeymoon! Will be nice collecting buttons in the future like Anniversaries, future kids' "first time", etc.

An anonymous souvenir! This past trip the "keep track of time" cards were red so I don't know if they would want the yellow one back. You should probably just keep itBrian845 wrote:Ok, I just remembered this free souvenir that I have, thanks to the "Where in the World" game. A Walt Disney World pen from one of the parks restaurants or from a WDW Resort. I have one in my purse, on my desk at work, and at home at all times! Nice little reminder always!

Oh, I like those, too. I wrote a law school exam once with one. I was smiling through the entire exam (which was not easy, let me tell you).cousininmiami wrote:A Walt Disney World pen from one of the parks restaurants or from a WDW Resort. I have lots of stuff, pens to room keys, old ticket's. We returned one year after going with my grandmother and realized grandma forgot to turn in her room key. This was when the contemporary resort still used actual keys. So that also turned into a collectible item.

I cant remember when that was. I'm thinking it was late 80's. The Key is shaped like the frame structure of the Contemporary Resort.Amy wrote:Real keys for a hotel?!
