Compared to the prices they charged for the Disneyland events for the HM and HMH, that's actually pretty cheap...

Yeah, but this event is at the Contemporary so it isn't in the Haunted Mansion, or even in the near vicinity really.

Actually, neither have been Disneyland's events. Closest one was Blue Bayou. But at least with Disneyland's they close off the HM for the event to allow those attending to ride it (the HM was already closed to put in the HMH overlay; the events were held the night before its re-opening). I can't remember if they closed it that night for the 30th and 40th events.

Yeah, that's sort of what I meant, at least the people got to actually experience the attraction as part of the event. I'm sure the theming will be amazing, but still...
