I personally have found maintenance to be lacking for many years. The worst case I recently noticed was lot of damage to the wall when you do the turn-around in the queue of TSM after climbing the stairs. Although it may seem minor, the queue in TSM should be near perfect since people are stopping there and have time to look around and notice these things.
Are there places where Disney can cut corners and get away with it, sure. However, Disney should pay stricter attention to the maintenance issues where it will draw attention to the guests eye.

True that! And gosh darn, people who don't use FP will spend an unreal amount of time in the TSM queue. It's themed so well, maintenance issues should NOT be visible! Talk about destroying the magic....

From the tippy top of Swiss Family Treehouse you can see behind stage. I think it's where the floats are.

The unique design of the screens mean that they had to tailor the building to it, so unlike the ToT behind Morocco, they couldn't make it look like something that belonged in Canada. The debate over whether Soarin' belongs in Epcot is a different matter entirely.
I disagree with not being able to disguise the building. They could have screened it with trees or made it appear to be a mountain. There are both trees and mountains in Canada. The trees would probably ruin the forced perspective, but a mountain wouldn't as long as they utilized the same ratio as the buildings.
Be careful what you ask for, they might read this and just paint in some clouds. Wait, there are clouds in Canada right? Where's Martin Short when you need him.
