Please, remember some attractions came BEFORE the movie, such as Haunted Mansion, Mission to Mars, Country Bears Jamoboree, Pirates of Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise. The tie-ins are a product of the movie that followed after the attraction.

I will be forever grateful if they don't find a place for Eddie Murphy inside the HMmindflipper wrote:Please, remember some attractions came BEFORE the movie, such as Haunted Mansion, Mission to Mars, Country Bears Jamoboree, Pirates of Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise. But most came after the movie.

Still, kill little mermaid from space.
Oh forgot, so Jungle Cruise wasn't before (unless you count the branded one) since it's supposed to be based on the African Queen, and Mission to Mars is unrelated to the movie I would say.

Not that I don't like him, but that movie was pretty bad

If the new movie does well, which it might as long as Del Toro doesn't get the story/design neutered, you may very well see changes come to reflect the film.

I'm really curious who thought the Country Bear Jamboree was going to make a good movie...mindflipper wrote:Please, remember some attractions came BEFORE the movie, such as Haunted Mansion, Mission to Mars, Country Bears Jamoboree, Pirates of Caribbean and the Jungle Cruise. They don't always think it's going to be good, but sometimes they have actors/directors under contract that they need to use or lose and a script that they think won't do too poorly.

COMPLETELY LOVE the America WEST idea. I think bringing in the influence of the " American Cowboy as well as the American Indian" would be a great feel ...

Maybe...but then again, they've already spent loads lately on the HM and POTC, I would expect Disney would be spending money to updating other older attractions in the future...Amy wrote:Oh noI wonder if mindflipper has contemplated this?!

Go ahead! I've heard that rumor for 15+ years so if it hasn't happened by now, I'm not taking much stock in it happening any time soon...Wizzard419 wrote:Oh, well then I will just go throw this hatbox ghost in the shredder then. Be right back...

Yeah, but apparently the script and posters focus on that characer.

Agreed. I find DAK, in a way... boring. I mean, come on. The landscaping is lovely but there just isn't anything to do.Satchel T wrote:I think instead of adding another land it would be nice to have more thrill rides within the areas that already exist. Much like the FantasyLand renovation.
They need more dining options as well.

personally I love rafiki's planet watch. It is never very crowded, you can relax in the air conditioning,, look at the cool painted animals, meet some real ones in the meet and greet, and if you are lucky (which I have never been yet in all ym years) watch a surgery or procedure.
