Give me his address. As his "pal" I could give that friendly suggestion: "Do you know what I think your wife would really like as a gift for her birthday, Christmas or anniversary?" It's as subtle as brick bouncing off the head, but it's hard to be oblivious to that...

Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
Did we get a consensus on this? Is the music still working or is it kaput...?
Was it just a one time thing?
One of my little surprises I have cooked up for the family is to take them for Dole Whips and "just happen" to be on the beach at Wishes time
(I already have the airplane bottles in my luggage
--for the adults only of course..)

Maybe you could pm Soarin' and see if she managed to get over to the Poly beach at any time during her trip.wewantsdaredhead wrote:Did we get a consensus on this? Is the music still working or is it kaput...?

I wonder if any one has experienced a "brain freeze" from consuming a Dole Whip too fast?

Yes, my mother has experienced this problem, I think I get my DW addiction from her?! My father is also addicted. I guess you can say it runs in the family!mindflipper wrote:I wonder if any one has experienced a "brain freeze" from consuming a Dole Whip too fast?

25 days until I find out for sure if they are still playing the music from Wishes on the soft white sands of the Poly. Tiki torches, 7 Seas Lagoon lit up by the lights of the GF and Contemporary and soft evening breeze here I come!!!

Can't you just call the concierge at the hotel and ask?
Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
I sure hope this is not true. I love sitting on the beach with the sand between my toes, listening and watching fireworks.

Re: Wishes from the Poly beach
I proposed to my girlfriend at the time..now my beautiful wife
on the beach at the Poly back in Oct 2008 and there was no music then... but we were close to some dinner show.. not too romantic but we enjoyed it.. we were at a swing set up in the sand watching wishes... Important thing music or not was that she said YES!! Now we are going back in a few days for our 1st wedding anniversary.
Proposed Oct 15 2008
Married Oct 16 2010
