Nice pin collection Epcotmaniac. I think I have the same Mickey American flag one. I guessed before I ever scrolled down that Donald must be one of your favorite characters

Wow, nice collection, Epcotmaniac!! I've never seen a lot of those
I don't collect pins now, but I did when I was younger and racked up quite a few.

Wow cool, I love those Fastpasspins. I have never seen them before. Where did you get them?

Re: Does anybody collect pins?
they were Cast Lanyard pins (hidden mickey pins) exclusive to pin trading... i am still missing one, Peter Pan's Flight, and the people who have them know how hard they are to find... ($15+ on ebay now)Epcotmaniac wrote:Wow cool, I love those Fastpasspins. I have never seen them before. Where did you get them?

I like how you thought of that ~ dead dstrawn wouldn't be nearly as much fun on the forumsdstrawn9889 wrote:addendum.... i will trade off of the full page sheets, the soft pack on the end is my wife's pins, and i would be dead if i traded any of hers...

I was curious about the fastpass pins too. I don't really collect pins so I generally don't look at them and wouldn't have known they weren't ones you could buy. When you mentioned hidden mickeys, I was looking for pins that you had put in the Mickey Mouse ears configuration but I didn't see any

So even with all those monorail pins, you don't have all of them?!

I forgot to mention the Food Rocks pin ~ I really like that one too

naw, AMY, there 'were' twelve monorail colors, then two were retired (purple and pink) and new colors introduced to replace them (peach and teal). when these sets were released there was red, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple, pink, lime, coral, gold, silver, and black.

Re: Does anybody collect pins?
as for the pins in the soft-pouch... they are my wifes' collection on our inaugural trip to WDW together in 2002... so you see the food rocks, and the old star tours pins, along with the old spinner world showcase pin.
the hidden mickeys are on the pins themselves, a small classic mickey head in silver is on the face of every one of them and that denotes them as exclusive to the pin trading program at the parks...
more info, and some pictures of yearly collections

I love the hitchhiking ghost and the castle pin along with the stretching room pins!
We have a bunch of pins too, but unfortunately, they are not together and I have no clue where they all are...but we're hoping to get a handle on our pins and display them creatively somehow.

Re: Does anybody collect pins?
I've bought a bunch of pins, but the funny part is that I never bought a pin inside WDW. Here's a small sample of the pins I have mixed with some non-Disney pins. See a theme?

I plan on spending $100 on my next trip to WDW on pins. They will probably be souvenirs based on the trip. For example, if we say at Pop Century, I'll buy a Pop Century pin. If we go in December, I'll buy some Christmas pins, etc. I'm hoping for a good score.

I found Purple last month. If I can find that one, Pink shouldn't be out of the question.dstrawn9889 wrote:naw, AMY, there 'were' twelve monorail colors, then two were retired (purple and pink) and new colors introduced to replace them (peach and teal). when these sets were released there was red, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple, pink, lime, coral, gold, silver, and black.
I used to have a bunch of pins, including the first eight Monorails that were released before I moved and lost them. I've been re-collecting and I still need Red*, Orange, Yellow, Green, Pink, Coral and once they are released, Peach and Teal.
*I do have it but the "pin" portion broke off and super glue doesn't work

Question: Anyone else have the hardest time finding a pin and once you do trade for it, you see it everywhere now?
