Now here's a song I can sing or hum all day long. I sing in a barbershop quartet and wish I could think of a way to include this song in a show. It doesn't fit with anything else we do..but wouldn't it be fun to sing!?It's got to be "Makin' Memories". I LOVE taking pictures. I love this song for another reason, though--what is it we are really doing with our families at Disney? Makin' Memories, of course!
What's your favorite classic EPCOT song?

I can't believe of these attractions I actually voted for Food Rocks (I LOVED Food Rocks, but compared to the other attractions it was far inferior and way less classic), but it's a vote based on the music alone and I'm a sucker for Peter Gabriel and Queen so nutritional versions of Sledge Hammer and Bohemian Rhapsody get my vote!

It has to be Magic Journeys for me. It perfectly captures the mood of the film, which was a really nice and original piece unlike we'd seen before from Disney. A little funny, a little scary, a whole lot trippy, and perfect for the subject matter.
No movie tie-ins, no pop culture references, just straight up entertainment which takes the audience seriously, but also with a joyous sense of infinite possibilities. It didn't spoonfeed the audience comforting images they've already seen before, it challenged them to think "WTF is this??".
Exactly the kind of thing that makes me want to find whomever green-lighted HISTA and beat them to death with a prickly topiary.
Um, but I digress...
Anyway, you cannot beat these lyrics:

If you read that and still can't figure out why people who prefer classic EPCOT go thermonuclear when you mention singing fish and Ellen DeGeneres, allow me to lead you through my beautiful topiary garden...You are riding on the winds
Where the universe begins
Through the atoms that repose
In the heartbeat of a rose

This is a great poll!! Awesome idea, Future Guy!
Such a tough choice, and I was seriously having issues about which to choose...Makin' Memories is a fun song, I always liked the different variations on a theme in Fun to be Free, Kitchen Kabaret was our late-night entertainment in the park when I was a kid.
But I ultimately cast my vote for Listen to the Land. My family owned our own produce greenhouses when I was really little and so that song and attraction has always held a special meaning for me.

I have such strong, positive memories associated with JII, the music from that pavillion in its hey-day would be forever my absolute favorite.
