I'm on one of these walls :)
The geologist in me tells me these stones are made out of a lovely flow granite, and I like them for now. They will change in the future and that's a good thing as well.
The Monorail runs right over my (and Mrs Joe90s) picture so I suppose I get run over by a monorail every 5 mins or so :)
If I had been given a choice I would have gone for a paving stone like they have in MK.
I wonder why they stopped that? Guests paying to replace the paving = free paving. Win Win in my book.

I have noticed that some of the older pictures are wearing down over the years. Some are barely noticeable. I think exposure is getting to them. They should be moved, perhaps to the sides where they will be a little more protected.

I don't like them either. I would take the brick pavers over these obstacles any day.

I have to agree with horizons. I actually do look at the ground when walking in the MK to see some of the bricks and the dates on the bricks. As for the the obelisks, I never look at them since half of the pictures just don't even look like humans!

On that same note, take your young children, have the picture(s) taken, then when the child grows up, they can see for themselves how much they've changed. Depending on how lang these things stay up/plaques last.
Can't you do that with your own pictures?
yes, you could. but with those Leave a Legacy pictures, you're basically leaving "a piece of yourself" in "the World". you can't say that with your own pictures.
