Well, the last time we went to Disney, we pulled into the resort after our 6 1/2 hour drive from the ATL, my sister and I took a quick restroom break and then we waited for the bus to DHS. Our parents did all of the boring check-in and luggage stuff. Yeah, we don't waste any time

It depends on when we get there. If you get there around 10am then we stop by the hotel and the go straight to a park. If you get there alittle late then we go we go to the hotel then go to Downtown Disney.

Well, my last response was SSE at Epcot until our 2007 trip when it was closed and we went to MK the first day.
That will apparently be our new tradition as we're going back in Feb. 2009 and plan to take our dd2 to Fantasyland first so she'll hopefully not be afraid of rides. I bet tht will become our new tradition.

We usually go to MK the first day and immediately get on the WDW Railroad. The first year we went, our then 3-year-old son got on the phone with Goofy at the train station. He's wanted to start the trip there ever since.
After the train ride, we look for the barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans, on Main Street. After listening to them, I sing a song with them.

We usually check into the hotel, grab a bite to eat, hit the pool, and then go to bed at a decent time, because we all get up early the next morning to hit the Magic Kingdom. We do the MK first every trip....and try to get up early and stay up late every day to max out our stay at each park. Mind you, we always seem to arrive at the hotel around 3pm from the airport.
