I will admit I like both of them. I have no problem with the music from The Land, and Horizons is one of my all-time favorite attractions.

I hated land music as a kid, it grew on me. plus this pole is so funny, with the total of my vote, the result of the pole read 12% for choice 1,2, &3, leaving 4 with 64% of the vote. I find this funny 'cause I think it sums us all perfectly, we all woundn't be here if we didn't want to hear rare Disney music that the general public would consider horrible.

I make a distinction between the Land's attraction music, which I like and is full of memories, and the muzak in the area which borders on the hilariously crappy.
That said, I still kind of like it. I never noticed the music enough when I was there to make it nostalgic for me now, but it's kind of cool that all the songs reference the Moon or the Sun. Pretty subtle, and went nicely with the mobile...which is gone now, right?
Anyway, I love the Horizons music, particularly the instrumental stuff behind each of the major set pieces. The full-blown version of "Space" is as strong as any classic Disney song.

like the christmas music?Calypso wrote:I voted for neither, not because they are great music but because the question is too broad. I think there are certain tracks for each that are rather annoying (probably not painful, though).

Cap'n, the mobile is still there, just the wonderful music is gone.Captain Schnemo wrote:I make a distinction between the Land's attraction music, which I like and is full of memories, and the muzak in the area which borders on the hilariously crappy.

I'm with the majority on this one - both are full of wonderful memories for me.

It's the huge fountain that is gone. I miss it, that was my favorite fountain in all the parks. I wonder what happened to it. If Disney kept it intact or demolished it to get it out of the building. I hope it is intact, sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting for a time to be resurected.Esmeralda wrote:Cap'n, the mobile is still there, just the wonderful music is gone.Captain Schnemo wrote:I make a distinction between the Land's attraction music, which I like and is full of memories, and the muzak in the area which borders on the hilariously crappy.
