Nemo musical

Post by WVParkfan » Sep Thu 20, 2007 6:47 am

Heading back to WDW in April, and we've marked the new Nemo musical at the AK as our first "must do." Can anyone tell me what it is like? We loved the Tarzan show that was there, and we love FotLK and B&tB, so I'm sure we'll enjoy this new stage production.

It is phenomenal in my opinion. They've taken the storyline of a non-musical movie and seamlessly inserted a great score with great songs. If you've seen The Lion King on Broadway (or on tour) then you'll appreciate the puppetry the live actors use to bring Nemo, Dory, Crush and the rest of the characters to life. I was personally very sad to see Tarzan close down and was less than enthusiastic about the Nemo replacement when annouced, but after seeing the show the first time I immediately bought the CD soundtrack and it's jumped to the top for me as my favorite live show at any Disney park.

Enjoy.

Is any of that music available here on Subsonic? I'd love to hear the soundtrack!

You know, I don't think it is (at least not uploaded, Sub may have it in his queue), however the CD is actually on iTunes so you could get a preview. :D

The songs are great and the puppets are amazing. It's the best show in WDW!

I can't wait to see it this year. I just wish they could just fit a few more show times a day. I've had trouble fitting in to my day in the past.

It's an excellent show. And the soundtrack is awesome. Thank goodness, you can hear it here!
