I love the buildings in Adventureland. I have been in/stayed in, very similar, "real" buildings on my travels around the world. I could happily live in the upstairs appartment next to the bridge.
I still like the Tiki rooms. Just not the new management.
The tree house is a nice slow wander with great views. Leave it alone.
Aladdin - not offensive.
Pirates - With or without the sparrow. Great.
Jungle Cruise - Nice attention to details, a classic.
Dole whips - What are those???????.

It's okay, I guess - I usually see it briefly as I use it to get to Splash Mountain when I first get to the park, but it's something that I usually come back to later to ride POTC. I have to agree with everyone, though, that the scenery is really great, and those Dole Whips are really refreshing in the middle of the day, too!

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and Jungle Cruise just bring this part of the park WAY DOWN. I too think this is the best themed part of the park, but with the creation of the Animal Kingdom Park (the REAL thing), the Jungle Cruise became severely outdated. So much more could be done with the huge amount of space the JC takes up.

I agree with kcarts, DOLE WHIPS! I know many people are not fans of the Swiss Treehouse, but I just LOVE it. The views are amazing from up top, plus I loved that movie. It's part of the park, it's an original. Aladdin I could do w/o and I wish they would put the Tiki room back to it's original state. Jungle Cruise could use an update, but I still love it. And Pirates is awesome, although I'd like to know what they did with the parrot that was outside fo the ride!? I love the overal theme of the land and it's one of my favorites!!!

I love the theming. Swiss Family Robinson is one of my favorite movies, so I like to go in the treehouse. DW can't do the steps, so she takes a break when I go up there. PotC is a must-do-several-times experience. I CANNOT stand the Tiki Room new management. Bring back the original show - even Offenbach. The kids love Alladin, but it makes the area feel crowded. Keep the Jungle cruise and keep updating it with new AAs and new sight gags.

Wow, this is the first land I think I have not been with the majority on! I gave it a "5" based on Pirates alone really. It's the ride most firmly planted in my memory from childhood trips and will always be a favorite for as long as I visit WDW. Although I'm not thrilled about the changes since the Pirates movies became big, the charm of the ride is still there and I can overlook Johnny Depp for the most part. I'm a big fan but I'm sorry, the ride came before the movie, not the other way around...

This is probably the biggest example of how Disney has tried to appease ignorant guests whom complained about not seeing their favorite movie personality in the ride. Oh brother! Well, Jungle Cruise is a big favorite of mine as well and I know a lot of you think it's corny and the animatronics are old and cheesy but I don't care, I still love it!

Aside from the Aladin's Carpet ride I really love this whole land.

I am a 3 here. I do not care for Tiki Room, Aladdin's Carpets are Dumbo again, the Jungle Snooze is kind of lame, I am not a Dole Whip fan and the TreeHouse is fun once a trip. HOWEVER, other than the Tiki Room, I do them all at least once each trip to Disney. I am a HUGE Pirates fan and ride this at least 5 times in a single days visit to MK. I usually ride it at least 15 times on a single vacation to WDW.

The only draws for me in Adventureland are POTC and the Treehouse (for relaxation sake

). I do, however, love the theming and music in this land!

O/T moment: When I first saw Life is Beautiful, I nearly went insane trying to figure out where I knew the song he kept playing for his wife from. Not just that Tales of Hoffman is pretty well known, but I was
sure I'd heard it a bunch of times before and could never understand why, as I was certain I'd never seen the opera. Come to find out some time later it was old school Tiki Room. Kind of a surreal moment, that.

A little off topic, but I just saw Life Is Beautiful for the first time this past Thursday. It's kind of freaky that you just happened to mention it now.
On another note, I didn't make the song connection until you just mentioned it.
