I love Expedition Everest. I didn't think it was that bad. My mom wouldn't ride it either. But now she regrets not even giving it a try. The only scary part not like Big Thunder is when it goes backwards. At least try it and if you don't like it you'll never have y oride it ever again.

EE as an "experience" is wonderful. The coaster is smooth. The idea about the broken track and the backwards motion makes a cool experience. Then the YETI is awesome. But, before you even get on the ride, the queue is extremely well done. The best I've ever experienced.

It is not a loop, but there is a backwards helix int he dark. Because of the speed of the helix, it can make you feel like you are going upside down.

I think you can handle it. It feels big and smooth, not wild and abusive like some modern coasters.
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

The ride is intense, but its extremely smooth. Overall, Everest is one of the best overall attractions of any theme park; when you include the queue line, the theming, and the thrills.

I was at WDW the last week in February and while at AK caught this interesting shot.

If I were to list my 5 favorite rides at WDW, Everest would be on the list. It would probably also be on a list of my favorite 5 attractions.

It's a must-see if you have any tolerance for roller coasters at all.

It took many years to get my wife onto Big Thunder and Splash. It has only taken a few years to persuade her onto EE.
She may not love it, but she didn't hate it either.

A fairly tame coaster as far as the ride goes, but all good as far as storey and theming.

It fits with the Disney ideals....it is for both adults and kids so it is not TOO scary or rough to ride.
