We'll be in WDW during the NCAA basketball tournament this year. Now, I normally immerse myself in all things Disney on these trips, and normally wouldn't care about what is going on in the outside world. But, if my beloved West Virginia University Mountaineers are playing in the NCAA tourney while we are at the World, we're going to want to stop and see the game.
So, what are our options? We'll be park-hopping each day, and I know that if we are at DHS or Epcot that we can take the Friendship boat over to the ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk. But, what other options do we have?
Best place in WDW to watch NCAA basketball tournament?

For Disney property, I'd say the ESPN Zone would be a pretty good bet, but if you're willing to go off-property (BLASPHEMOUS, I know) you might look to Margaritaville at the Universal Citywalk. They have great food and drinks, a volcano that makes margaritas, and plenty of televisions to keep you satisfied.

There aren't many TVs for game watching on property, and naturally, absolutely nothing in any of the parks. I had to watch a Texas-Texas A&M game at ESPN the day after Thanksgiving one year. That would be my vote. But, you'd have the hassle of making sure you got there early enough and got a good table if the game is that important to you.
We were at WDW when the Superbowl was on in 2007. We caught a bit of it at Rainforest Cafe.
Btw...thanks for beating the crap out of the sooners!

Agree the ESPNZone would be the best place to watch the games. But I have to agree with SWHorn, if you do go there you better get there before any of the games start. Last December I was there and walked by just to catch a little of the NFL playoffs and I couldn't get near the place. I was just going to stand and watch for a minute and there was not way that was going to happen. Ended up going back to the resort (Riverside) and watching some of it in the bar.
Hope WVU plays an early one so you don't have to be perched there all day.
