Definitely Christmas. So colorful...so memorable. It makes my 79 year old mother feel like a kid again. EPCOT is themed with different versions of holiday lighting and traditions, depending on the country you're "in."

Do they still have an Easter Parade? We're making our first "Easter" trip this year, and we're looking for things to do on Easter Sunday.Blackie Pueblo wrote:How do you fans feel about the Easter season? Do you think the parade is neat, or just ok? I know it's kinda cool cause it makes it to the tv, but it never really impressed me much.

I believe they do, but it probably won't be on Easter Morning (at least at the parks). The ones they show on tV are usually taped earlier in the month for editing and such.WVParkfan wrote:Do they still have an Easter Parade? I loved the Easter parade it was favorite at the time, I always thought it was cool that they had a parade with that many floats and performers for only two weeks a year. Unfortunately the last parade on tv was in 1999 and the last year it was held in the park was in 2000. They do still have Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny greet guests in Town Square during Easter time and they might still ride on a float before the daytime parade.

The Osborn lights were GREAT!! It's such a fun time to be there, extra magical!! But Halloween is still our favorite time.2224mt wrote:We have been during Christmas 3 times and Halloween 3 times. We like the Halloween party better but we love the Christmas time decorations, music and side events better.
We are going back this Nov/Dec to enjoy Christmas at Disney once again.

I wasn't at WDW on December 25 but rather on Thanksgiving and all the Christmas decorations were up -- it was so beautiful! The trees are all spectacularly decorated, the resorts all decorate also. I loved the tree in front of MGM and my mother LOVED the light show there, although very crowded it was fun.
We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern -- very cute colonial theme with the characters coming around and all but the food (pressed turkery) was just o.k. The pumpkin pie was good!
It was a great time to be there, I would definitely recommend anytime from Thanksgiving to Christmas. It gets you in the holiday spirit. you won't want to leave and face the real world.

If you're at EPOCOT for New Year's Eve, you get to see Armageddon. That's what they call the fireworks barge, it actually goes down 3 feet when they set them off. Bring ear plugs! Make sure you're at EPCOT by noon, the park fills up that quick.
