Magic Kingdom would have to be my personal favorite out of all of the parks. Not just because it is the original park of the 4, but every time i walk through the train station i get this nostalgic feeling and it feels good. Almost makes me feel like the little kids i see around me, all excited to see everything in 1 hour XD
Its always fun to do a 3 mountain run and to watch the different shows, Philhar Magic being my fav of the sit-downs. and then the night shows, spectromagic and wishes, my 2 fav fireworks/parade shows, bringing the simple joys of being in the park into one 30 minute presentation for all to enjoy. I think that Disney Pulls out all of the stops they possibly can in Magic Kingdom, with the other parks following this trend by pulling out all of their stops year by year.

It's MK for me, but Epcot is right on its heels. I pick MK partly because for my first few trips to WDW 30 years ago, it's the only park they had. Plus, I like the sentimental aspect and the classic attractions like CoP, SM, HM, PoC, etc. (although they seem to be slowly fading away as time goes on).

I love the Magic Kingdom for several reasons. One that I have a young daughter who is 8 and we love the rides. The fact that there are more family rides in the magic kingdom. We love the atmosphere there as well. We can't get enough of the parades and the rides especially the Haunted Mansion which I know is closed right now, but soon to be back open.

It isn't that we don't like them or anything. AK is superb and I always spend at least a day in MGM.Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:It's kind of sad that no one has voted for MGM (I will always refer to it as that) or AK. Where is Quickgold when you need him?

I would guess that it is because they are less iconic than MK or Epcot.

I love the Magic Kingdom because of its majesty. I like the idea of the different lands and Cinderella's castle will always have a special place in my heart. Right now, I prefer WDW's Magic Kingdom since it's been so long since I've been to DLR. Disney's Hollywood Studios comes in at a very, very close second.

I think part of the reason they are not anyone's favorites is because you can finish the parks so quickly. There just doesn't seem like a whole lot to do when you compare them to EPCOT and the Magic Kingdom. You can finish almost everything at MGM and Animal Kingdom pretty early and then you have nothing to do until Fantasmic.Joe90 wrote:It isn't that we don't like them or anything. Two thumbs up for the Magic Kingdom! I enjoy the other three parks as well, but I remember visiting the Magic Kingdom when it was the one and only theme park WDW had to offer. Catching that first glimpse of Cinderella Castle and then passing underneath the train station through the magic tunnel is like entering another world. I look forward to the time when I can take my daughter - who is now just 2 - and let her enjoy what I've enjoyed for so many years.

Thats a hard one. I used to consider Mk my fav because it is just a classic park and full of magic. Then Epcot was my fav because its just amazing and retro and there are just no words to describe it fully. At the moment MGM is my fav because I one day hope to go into the film business and this park just appeals to me in that sense. I pretty much love all of the parks equally, except AK, that parks ok it just doesnt appeal to me as much as the others.
