ok, now what are the exact rules for drinking around the world. does it have to be beer? I like beer and all, but I hate the bloated feeling I get from drinking too much of it. And if you do get sick halfway through, does that negate that half so you have to go back to the beginning?

It certainly doesn't have to be beer... check the first post in this thread, my trip in 2004 that sparked this conversation included tequila, beer, sake, champagne, and white wine...

As for "getting sick"... well, if you get sick, I don't think you should go back to the beginning or continue on. Frankly, the escapade is not for everyone.

Take it slow, people!
