Rode CoP in July. All appeared to be working appropriately, though not very popular. Walked on in a heavy rainstorm... People would rather stand under its overhangs than actually ride the thing
Loved it as always.

I've only seen COP once; I think it was during President's Day weekend. I wish it was open more often. Like It's a Small World, Pirates, and some of the other classic Disney attractions that can be linked back to Walt, it has timeless appeal.

CoP is one of my favorites as well. Since the AAs are viewed so close-up, I would like to see them replaced with some of the newer models that are sooooo lifelike. Since it's not too popular an attraction, I suppose Disney would not want to lavish a lot of time and money on it. I still enjoy it and always include it in my trips to the MK.

I haven't been on this ride for many years so I watched it on youtube. What I thought was strange about it was the jump from the past to the future. The jump seemed like a fifty year skip. It had weird continuity. If anything should be changed, they should get rid of one of the earlier scenes and put something between the large time gap. Maybe late seventies or something like that.
