This week's Walt Disney World Update over at
MousePlanet had a really cool trivia question I thought I'd share with everyone. The answer will be in next Monday's WDW Update... I figured out the answer, but definitely had to do a little research...
See if you can get it!
This week's question: This week's question was submitted by MousePlanet reader Mike Andrews. When I was at WDW in April, riding the friendship boat from MGM to the Epcot resorts area, the cast member driving the boat challenged everyone on board to answer the ultimate Disney trivia question. The question was: Name the seven things at WDW that are called "________ Mountain" or "Mt. ________". Can you name all 7?

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain (it's a bit of a stretch, but it's the actual full title)
Mt. Gushmore
that's all I can think of off the top of my head... I'm sure I could come up with the others if I really looked for them, but I have to get up early tomorrow, so I'm not going to tonight....

I think the correct answer for this is simply "Forbidden Mountain" since that's the name of the actual landmark.
You've got five... there are two others...

Mt. Mayday @ Typhoon Lagoon is one
Cyberspace Mountain @ Disney Quest is the last one.

perhaps it was the delivery of the question? or maybe you just need to get a cool picture of yourself on the teacups while wearing a santa hat instead of that goofy picture of me fishing.

It was a trivia question my DW found on another Disney board (where she's a MOD). The question was can you name the WDW mountain range.
Although the image you gave me was quite calming! Thanks!! I can also see you have never seen me fishing.

I think in general we don't encourage posting of trivia in the forums. Since its just leads to people posting answers or parts of answers. This generally does not add value to the forums, and leads to people getting points for no reason.
Also if I recall, I think you posted the question right after you joined up. We are less stringent in the beginning. Once we see you make regular contributions, and are not just a point whore we crack the ruler less.
BTW: spaulo will be dealt with for this post.

So I don't get a pat on the back for getting the last two answers?

Sorry, netslave, yes, good job... so to wrap up this derailed trivia thread, the 7 "mountains" in Walt Disney World are:
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Forbidden Mountain
Cyberspace Mountain
Mt. Gushmore
Mt. Mayday
