I remember waiting in line during an E-ticket night and suddenly the lights came on because they had to look for something that had fallen. It was a bummer actually seeing the whole ride in the light.js3901 wrote:Once, the lights came on while rideing it and I saw how it looked (how close everything is), but I still kept my hands up and I was fine...

I would so hate it if that lights turned on while I was on the ride. I've seen it with the lights on from the TTA but I think it would ruin the effect. Same thing with Rock n Roller Coaster....I've heard people have even Dinosaur with the lights on and not all the dinosaurs are even complete.I remember waiting in line during an E-ticket night and suddenly the lights came on because they had to look for something that had fallen. I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

I've heard imagineers say that Dinosaur is kinda scarry even all lit up. But that might have just been the company line.
BTW has anyone else seen the Discovery/History/Travel Channel thing about building Expedition Everest? The company line thing about "it's all about the story" was so bad, they did a montage in the show with Joe Rodey (sp?) and everyone say "it's the story" "we are telling a story" "we can't short change the story".... It was really funny.

Yeah, I have seen all of those shows on the networks you mention. Most of them are pretty decent. It's kind of disappointing though when they say they are going to reveal secrets of the parks and it ends up being stuff all of here probably already know. I guess if you had never been or had only been once or twice then you might get a few surprises.jcodirewolf wrote:I've heard imagineers say that Dinosaur is kinda scarry even all lit up. I've always been worried I might hit something too. It's a great effect that everything looks so close. My wife ALWAYS touches the slow down tube. Whenever I think of someone hitting their head on SM I always picture it like a cartoon, where the head hits, then again, and again. LOL

I feel like that on all roller coasters that double under themselves. Always scared I'm going to crack my head open.BuDz211 wrote:As a small child, I remember being scared of hitting my head on Space Mountain. I guess I wasn't a bright kid.
I even do the extend the arms, pull in the arms, extend the arms, pull in the arms.

I can't wait to go back to WDW so I can touch the ceiling inside of the star tunnel! After that I keep my hands down!
