imagineering interview

Post by aschrade » Mar Mon 12, 2007 9:20 am

So, I've landed an interview with the Real Estate Development division of Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, FL next month. (These are the people responsible for the town of Celebration.)

Does anybody know anything about this group, or have any tips?

Many thanks...

I don't know anything about them but I would just suggest that you walk in with a Disney "can do" attitude and be very personable. Good luck!

Ditto on the "can do" attitude. Keep an open mind, because anything is possible for an Imagineer. Good luck, and hopefully you can tell us how it all went.!

Cliche as it sounds, think outside the box! You might want to check out this page: http://www.sellsbrothers.com/fun/msivie ... estion.htm it is full of the questions that microsoft asks its' potential employees. There are questions like "Why are manhole covers round?" and they want to see creative answers, different ways of thinking, they want to hear your thought process. I can only assume for an imagineer it would be a similar process. It is not so much about getting the "right" answer, but getting the most creative process.
